Responsibilities of NWPC Members

As a member of the NWPC, you'll be at the forefront of advocating for women's rights, actively supporting pro-choice policies, and participating in campaigns that promote gender equality. You'll help identify and mentor women candidates, attend vital meetings, and vote on key issues. Your involvement extends to fundraising efforts and developing community support programs, ensuring resources reach women in need. Join us to make a tangible impact in advancing women’s rights and leadership.


  • Advocate for Women's Rights:

    • Support Pro-Choice Policies: Members are expected to actively support and advocate for pro-choice policies and other issues central to the NWPC's mission.

    • Engage in Advocacy Campaigns: Participate in NWPC-led campaigns, rallies, and initiatives that promote gender equality and women's rights.

  • Support Women Candidates:

    • Identify and Recruit: Help identify, recruit, and support women candidates who align with the NWPC’s mission and values.

    • Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship and support to women running for office, helping them navigate the political landscape.

  • Attend Meetings and Events:

    • Participate Actively: Members should attend NWPC meetings, conferences, and events to stay informed and engaged with the organization's activities.

    • Vote on Issues: Contribute to the decision-making process by voting on issues, policies, and endorsements that align with the NWPC's goals.

  • Support Fundraising Efforts:

    • Contribute Financially: Support the organization through membership dues and participate in fundraising efforts to help sustain the NWPC’s initiatives.

    • Organize Fundraising Events: Help organize and promote fundraising events that support women candidates and NWPC programs, as well as the Arizona Chapter’s resource initiatives.

  • Contribute to Community Support Programs:

    • Assist in Resource Development: Work with the chapter to develop and expand assistance programs that provide critical support to women in need within our community.

    • Volunteer Your Time: Engage in hands-on efforts to distribute resources, organize drives, and connect women with the help they need.
