F.A.Q.'s

1. Who can join the NWPC Arizona Chapter? We welcome all individuals who align with our mission to advance women's rights and gender equality. While the National Women's Political Caucus endorses only candidates who identify as women, our chapter is open to members of all genders.

2. What does it mean to be pro-choice? Being pro-choice means supporting the right of individuals to make their own decisions regarding reproductive health and access to abortion services. Our chapter is firmly committed to defending and advocating for this right.

3. What are the age requirements for membership? To become a full member of the NWPC Arizona Chapter, you must be 18 years of age or older.

4. Can someone under 18 participate? Yes! Those under 18 can join our "Members in Waiting" group. While they cannot vote on issues or pay membership dues, they can participate in meetings, events, and contribute to our future leadership.

5. What are the benefits of being a member? Members gain access to advocacy platforms, leadership opportunities, networking with like-minded individuals, skill-building workshops, and support in running for office. They also contribute to vital community programs and resources for women in need.

6. What are the responsibilities of a member? Members are required to attend at least one in-person meeting or have a one-on-one meeting with a board member each month. Additionally, they are expected to actively support our pro-choice policies, participate in NWPC-led campaigns, mentor and support women candidates, attend meetings, vote on key issues, and contribute to fundraising efforts.

7. How can I get involved with NWPC activities? Members can engage by attending meetings, participating in advocacy campaigns, supporting fundraising efforts, and contributing to community support programs. Stay informed about events and initiatives through our newsletters and website.

8. How does the NWPC Arizona Chapter support women in need? Our chapter develops and supports programs that provide essential resources to women in our community, such as transportation, childcare, and hygiene products. Membership dues and donations directly fund these initiatives.

9. How can I become a member? You can sign up for membership by filling out our online application form. For those interested in the "Members in Waiting" group, there is a separate registration process available on our website.
